I read to 4th graders and they absolutely love these books. They request more and more of them. I'm glad a classic book from when I was young is interesting to kids now.
I purchased this for my younger sister who is turning 40 in a few months. I used to read Little Miss Bossy to her when she was a todler. Great memories! This book is well made and will last for generations.
Makes the bossy character always stupid in what she does.

I love the "miss / mr." series and they are good for children. Children typically love the characters in the stories and they can relate to them. These books are smal in size, which I wasn't aware of. I thought I was getting a typical sized chlidrens book and these are much smaller - but still the same great stories.
We've all encountered bossy kids/people. This is a great book to use with a child who is bossy or a way to talk about dealing with bossy kids with one's own child. Roger Hargreaves does a nice job giving examples of bossy behavior and points out accurately that "Little Miss Bossy wasn't very popular." My daughter really enjoyed reading the book which led to a discussion about how to deal with a bossy child in her class. It provided a nice opportunity to talk about why it's important not to be bossy.
I have a Little Miss Bossy Granddaughter. Can't wait to read this to her. Love Roger Hargreaves books.
